Lineburger Wooden Snipe ARG 26354 'Ayrton'

We are happy to share the story of the Lineburger ARG 26354 'Ayrton', sent by Jorge Marino, from Chascomús - Argentina.

Jorge Marino acquired Lineburger ARG 26354 from Argentine sailor Jorge Quiroga, who had bought the boat in Brazil. The boat even takes its name in homage to the famous Brazilian pilot of Formula 1, Ayrton Senna.

We also took this opportunity to pay homage to the duo Jorge Quiroga and Axel Rodger - who were Snipe World Champions with another boat in 1991 in Norway - with the photo of the season at El Gráfico.

Back in 1993,  the Lineburger ARG 26354 'Ayrton' participated in the Snipe World Championship in Porto Alegre, finishing in 13th place. At the time, Alberto Lineburger signed his snipe - a memory that Marino seeks to preserve, despite the inexorable action of time, and share a picture with us.
